Hello SCE friends and families! My name is Kelly Taylor and I have had the honor of being a proud Blue Jay since April 2019. I am originally from Washington State and then moved to Missouri in 2009 to pursue my Masters in Counseling. While in Missouri I met my husband, and we were married in 2012 and have since had 2 wonderful girls. I have worked in the school system in a variety of ways since 2010 but really found my calling as a School Counselor graduating with my Masters in 2013. In March of 2019 we moved to the Raleigh/Durham area and have loved it here ever since. My hobbies include making balloon animals, making people laugh, taking naps, and watching movies. I am a member of the American School Counselor Association and strive to always be learning and growing.  ​

Hi SCE families! My name is Cristina Mahoney and I have been one of the counselors at SCE since July, 2021. I am from Pennsylvania and have been living in the Raleigh area since 2016. Prior to moving, I graduated from King's College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012. Following that I spent many years working at a mental health agency, learning anything and everything I could about the field. After relocating, that took a back seat as I began my graduate school journey. I received a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2021 from Wake Forest University. I am a member of the Wake Forest Counselor Honor Society, the American School Counselor Association, and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am looking forward to continuing to grow here at SCE and get to know each student and family!
